How To Apply to
English Club for Teens

Before you apply

Important information:

• English Club for Teens is designed to complement the Czech school curriculum from grades 5-8. 

• English Club for Teens is not for complete beginners.

• Kids will speak in every lesson.

• Some previous contact with English speaking foreigners is very helpful.

• Kids must demonstrate respectful group behavior at all times.​

A desire to learn English in a new way is essential. Please speak with your child about their feelings and concerns regarding English before you go to Step 2.

Application form

If your child is ready to learn English in a new way, I invite you to complete a short questionnaire.

There are 2 parts to the questionnaire:

1. Basic information

2. Motivation

In the Motivation section, I ask you some questions that will help me to understand your specific needs and concerns.

Free level check

After you send me the application form, I will contact you to arrange a free level check.

In the level check, we will play a simple game in English. I will assess their:

• Understanding of basic spoken English commands

• Ability to learn and remember new language and corrections

• Readiness for social interations.

After the game, kids will complete a written test to check vocabulary and grammar.

​

The level check takes place at KC Jako Doma, and lasts about 35 minutes.
